Since 2005 my mom and dad have been in a rapidly declining status.   It has been difficult, but not with out it's rewards.  2007 has been particularly difficult with the death of my Father and a very demanding travel schedule.  As you all know my Mom had an unfortunate fall at the end of March that left her with a broken arm and hip.

 

Despite a noble attempt to rehabilitate she has been unable to adequately recover to walk or return to her apartment at Woodside Terrace.  At this point her doctor and physical therapists have determined that she will not be able to walk again and she has effectively lost the use of left hand and arm.  Due to this, her care demands requirement that she be moved into a long term care setting.
