This last week was a very busy week.   I am very excited that I was able to arrange for wheel chair transport up to my cousin's house for Thanksgiving.  This will allow my mom to be with her sister and all her nephews and nieces.   This really perked her up and should be a great trip.

 

I was also able to get my Mom screened by Rediwheel, the county sponsored wheelchair transportation system.  This will enable her to go on weekly outings from the facility and be transported to my house to diner.   As I mentioned before it is difficult and painful for her to transfer to the car.

 

At this time of Thanksgiving, I am particularly thankful for my two cousins Kathy and Claudia.   Kathy has been an amazing friend to my mom and a support to me.  Claudia, my Mom's god daughter is making my Mom's Thanksgiving by taking care of her that day.
