Stress from my husband
I am a 32 year old new mother of a 7 week old baby girl. My mother who has diabetes lives with me and my husband. She has lived with her for one year. My husband feels that my mother takes advantage of me because my mother can do things for herself but depends on me to do it. My mother walks with a cane but still does things for self around the house and her person care. I just drive my mother to her doctor's appointments and also check her feet for any sores from the diabetes. I grew up with my grandfather living with me when I was growing up and also helped my mother care for him when he had both his leg's amputated from diabetes. Sometimes I get sooo stressed out. I am always worried that what happened to my grandfather will happen to my mom. My husband says that my mother is my problem and resents her that she is sick and puts pressure on me. I just want him to be supportive of me and know that he is there if I need him. Can someone give me some words of encouragement?
