The Paperwork!
My caregiving situation is with my mom, who has MS andshe is stable, lives in her own apartment but I cook and clean for her, give her showers, pick up her medication, and run her affairs. If all I had to do was cook for her every night and do housecleaning, I would be okay, but I'm the worlds laziest bookeeper.  I forgot to file her taxes entirely and I barely keep a handle on the bank account, the house insurance, the 3 doctors, blahblahblah.  I'm having an ongoing battle with her insurance company that requires faxing and writing emails and making phone calls, but I'm at my wits end.  I've been dealing with these things for months and I've had it.  I'm only 30 and don't have nearly the paperwork that my mom has. I'm the DPOA, but I'll tell you its where I am least secure. Advice?
