Local Caregiver Support
I have been a caregiver for my wife (she's had MS) for over 26 years.  Her conditioned rendered her "fully disabled" six years ago and forced me into an early retirement.
We moved to SC and while our quality of life has improved, I miss the local "caregiver support" group we had in PA.  Monthly, a small group of caregivers would get together and go to dinner and just talk.  We didn't talk about health insurance, doctors, hospitals or other caregiver issues.  We talked about having fun, latest news, told jokes and we really enjoyed the one-evening break.
Now my question:  Are there any caregiver groups in the western part of SC that I can contact?  If not, I'd like to start one if there are enough interested people.
Regards,
John
